The Valdosta Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization, established in 1980, to identify and assist with the preservation and restoration of sites and structures of historical and architectural importance to Valdosta and Lowndes County. Historic preservation provides a profoundly important link with our past, and it significantly enriches our quality of life. You are invited to support these efforts in promoting preservation activities in our community, either participating actively or passively (financially only). Membership in the Valdosta Heritage Foundation is open to anyone or any organization interested in preserving Valdosta’s past; contributing to the educational, cultural, and economic vitality of its present; and ensuring the integrity of its future.
